This page covers somi.wine, the website for Somi, a wine app for iPhone that’s coming soon. The short version: if you join the guest list we keep your e-mail address, and we use it only to tell you when Somi is ready. Nothing else is collected about you here.
The guest list
When you join the guest list, we receive the e-mail address you type in. We use it for one thing: to let you know when Somi is available, and possibly to invite you to try it early. We don’t sell it, share it, or add you to anything else.
The list is stored with Netlify, the company that hosts this website. We keep your address until Somi launches and we’ve written to you, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.
Visiting the site
somi.wine uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The fonts and pictures come from this site itself, not from other companies.
Like any website, the server that sends you these pages briefly sees your IP address and which browser you use. Netlify handles this to deliver the site and keep it secure, as described in Netlify’s privacy policy. We don’t use it to identify you.
Links elsewhere
If you follow our links to Instagram or TikTok, those services’ own privacy policies apply there.
Your e-mail, your call
You can ask to see, change or remove the e-mail address we hold for you at any time. Write to hello@somi.wine and we’ll take care of it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Age
Somi is about wine. The guest list is for people of legal drinking age where they live.
The app
The Somi app will have its own privacy policy, covering what it keeps and why. We’ll publish it on this page before the app is available.
